evolved as a focal point in home decor. Piano lamps are designed to used when playing the piano, which isn't much of a surprise. You can however use these type of lamps on on desks for task lighting if you wish.
If you do plan on using it as a desk lamp, I suggest using on a desk no wider than 24 inches in width. Anything wider than that and the Piano lamp won't provide the best type of lighting necessary for general illumination.
As with any type of interior decorating you need to have a game plan, this is just a lamp but still it should flow with the rest of the room. Some of the styles you can choose from in piano table lamp include, mission, tiffany, traditional and transitional. Colors, well there are a few to choose from such as, black, antique brass, bronze and my favorite brushed steel.
